KSA upholds Polymarket penalty over unlicensed betting in the Netherlands

Enforcement & compliance

The KSA rejected Adventure One QSS Inc’s appeal against a penalty over Polymarket’s betting services for users in the Netherlands. The authority said the platform had failed to stop its offer by a 17 February deadline, and confirmed the January penalty on 23 June; the proceedings continue over the company’s compliance.

The upheld penalty signals that betting services offered to Dutch users may require local gambling licensing.
