Lotteritilsynet warns 62 companies over alleged illegal gambling in Norway

Enforcement & compliance

Norway’s Lotteritilsynet sent DNS-blocking notices to 62 companies it says offer illegal gambling to Norwegian consumers, including Polymarket and Kalshi. The companies have until 15 October to submit comments before the regulator makes final decisions; its director expects blocking to take place in autumn.

The notices give companies an opportunity to comment before Norway decides whether to block access.
