Brazil’s Federal Revenue reports R$7.9bn in betting receipts for 2025
Brazil’s Federal Revenue reported R$7.9 billion in federal receipts from fixed-odds betting platforms and online games during 2025, with the figures released on 24 November. The total compares with R$49 million in the previous year; October receipts were R$1.093 billion, against R$11 million in October 2024. The agency’s tax specialist attributed the increase largely to changes in the sector’s legal framework.
