Regulation

Brazil’s Federal Revenue collected R$8.82bn in federal taxes from gambling and betting businesses between January and November 2025, according to figures released by the agency. November accounted for R$852m, while the report attributed the increase from R$13m in November 2024 to regulation implemented in 2025. The agency said the impact of new tax measures would be assessed from the following year.
