Brazil reports R$3.397bn in sports betting tax for Q1 2026
Brazil’s Federal Revenue Service reported R$3.397 billion in tax collected from sports betting operators between January and March 2026, up 123.7% from the same period in 2025. Monthly receipts fell from R$1.49 billion in January to R$1.04 billion in February and R$859 million in March; the agency is collecting monthly data to revise its 2026 revenue forecasts.
