AGCO outlines application steps for Ontario racetrack operator licences

Ontario's Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) says first-time applicants seeking to open a racetrack should contact the regulator about eligibility. Applicants must submit corporate, financial and operational information, including a business plan, proposed race dates and supporting horse-racing documentation, before applying online.

Prospective operators can use the outlined requirements to prepare a racetrack licence application.
