AGCO requires advance notice of Ontario racetrack ownership changes

Regulation

Source: AGCO (Ontario)

Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission requires racetrack associations to report financial interests and changes to them. Proposed ownership changes must be submitted to the commission in writing before they take effect, with personal or corporate disclosure forms; holders of at least 5% may face due diligence.

Racetrack owners must notify the AGCO before a proposed ownership change is completed.
