Supreme Court allows Loto-Québec to join Ontario iGaming appeal
Canada’s Supreme Court appeal over Ontario’s proposed cross-border iGaming liquidity will include Loto-Québec after Justice Sheilah Martin granted the corporation permission to join, according to the report. It joins three other provincial lottery corporations challenging Ontario’s plan to connect players across jurisdictions in peer-to-peer games such as poker and daily fantasy sports.
The appeal will address whether Ontario may allow peer-to-peer gaming liquidity to cross provincial borders.
