STS plans parliamentary hearing request on Italy’s retail gambling reforms
Italy’s STS said it plans to request a hearing before parliamentary committees on the proposed reorganisation of land-based gambling. The draft has passed review by finance ministry technicians and local-authority representatives, and is due to go to the Council of Ministers before committee consideration.
The proposed rules could affect retail gambling operators and the position of tobacco shops and betting-receiving outlets.
