Spelinspektionen warns and fines Spribe SEK5,000 over unlicensed supply

Enforcement & compliance

Sweden’s Spelinspektionen warned and fined Spribe OÜ SEK5,000 after finding that its software had been supplied to unlicensed gambling operators. The authority said the breach of the Gambling Act was serious, but considered the issue resolved and future compliance likely, making a warning sufficient instead of licence revocation.

The decision reinforces that licensed software suppliers remain responsible for preventing unlicensed operators from using their games, including through intermediaries.
