Spain sets cross-operator deposit limits and launches player portal
Spain's Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and 2030 Agenda announced joint deposit limits applying across all licensed online operators. Default caps are EUR700 daily, EUR1,750 weekly and EUR3,300 per four weeks, with the DGOJ managing the system. The ministry also launched a free Player Portal for users to check deposits, winnings, losses and linked accounts.
Operators face aggregated deposit caps across all licensed platforms, requiring systems that track each player's spending in real time.
