Spain launches player portal and tests central deposit limits ahead of March 2027

Regulation

Spain's DGOJ launched the Portal del Jugador on 21 October and has begun testing a central system for shared deposit limits. The portal, accessible via the Cl@ve identification system, lets players view deposits, bets, winnings and losses across licensed operators and set warnings. Shared limits become mandatory on 26 March 2027, with default caps of €700 a day, €1,750 a week and €3,300 per four weeks.

Operators must query the central system before accepting deposits and refuse those breaching shared limits once the rules take effect in March 2027.
