Spain’s government approved a system that aggregates online gambling deposits across operators, according to a DGOJ listing. Once a user’s combined deposits exceed the set limit, operators must not accept further deposits.
Operators will need to apply deposit limits across a user’s accounts rather than separately at each platform.

Spain's Council of Ministers approved a royal decree on 23 June establishing joint deposit limits per person across all online gambling operators, the DGOJ said. Default limits are €700 daily, €1,750 weekly and €3,300 over four weeks, and players may change or remove them through a reinforced procedure. The DGOJ will run the system in real time.
Reportedly, Justine Davis has proposed an amendment to Australia's Northern Territory Racing and Wagering Act 2024. The proposal would impose monthly deposit limits on people aged 18–24 and increase the maximum operator penalty to A$10m.
