Seven European regulators coordinate action against offshore gambling

Regulation

Regulators from Germany, Austria, France, the UK, Italy, Portugal and Spain formalised an agreement in November 2025 to coordinate action against offshore gambling, according to the report. They plan to share information, coordinate complaints about illegal advertising and exchange investigative practices; the framework is described as voluntary and due for publication in early 2026.

The agreement could shape cross-border information sharing and enforcement affecting operators serving these seven markets.
