DraftKings faces class-action lawsuit over betting-limit changes in seven states
A plaintiff filed a federal class-action lawsuit against DraftKings in Michigan, alleging that the operator let him raise deposit and wagering limits without a required 24-hour waiting period. The complaint says the plaintiff lost more than $25,000 between 2022 and 2023 and alleges violations in Michigan, Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana and New York. Michigan’s gaming regulator investigated but declined enforcement action, according to the report.
The case challenges how DraftKings applies player-limit rules across seven state markets.
