Nine gambling regulators, including Italy’s ADM, signed a joint statement on risks linked to the 2026 FIFA World Cup and unauthorised prediction-market platforms. The authorities said they would monitor gambling advertising and betting integrity throughout the competition and take action against prediction-market platforms where national rules are breached. They also called on sports bodies to check platforms’ legality before entering partnerships.
