Senacon investigates betting adverts during CazéTV World Cup broadcasts

Regulation

Brazil’s Senacon said on 24 June 2026 that it would investigate possible irregularities in sports betting advertising during CazéTV’s live World Cup broadcasts. CazéTV had commercial agreements with KTO, bet365 and Betnacional for the tournament; the agency said it would assess whether the advertising met requirements for responsible, transparent communication and clear risk information.

The investigation could lead to administrative measures affecting betting operators advertising during the broadcasts.
