Santiago appeals court asks Subtel to explain online gambling site blocking
The Court of Appeals of Santiago asked Chile’s Subtel on 22 May to explain technical methods for blocking online gambling websites. The request follows a dispute brought by Lotería de Concepción against six internet providers; Subtel has said it could not effectively enforce a 2024 Supreme Court blocking order after operators changed domains.
