Santiago court admits Latamwin protection appeal over platform blocking

Regulation

The Santiago Court of Appeals admitted Grupo Latamwin’s protection appeal challenging a blocking decision involving the Superintendencia de Casinos de Juego and Subtel. The appeal argues that the agencies lacked authority to classify the platforms as illegal; the court’s acceptance requires the agencies to submit a report and respond to the allegations. Latamwin is seeking an order suspending the measures, but the court has not granted that relief in the reported material.

The case may affect whether the agencies’ blocking measures apply to Latamwin’s platforms.
