Salta transport authority bars gambling adverts in metropolitan taxis
Salta’s Metropolitan Transport Authority (AMT) prohibited gambling advertising in taxis and remises operating in the province’s metropolitan region, the authority said. Resolution 465/2026 covers vehicle advertising, sponsorships and indirect promotion, and takes effect immediately after official publication. Non-profit organisations are exempt when their messages do not directly encourage betting.
The restriction bars gambling brands from advertising through taxis and remises across Salta’s metropolitan region, subject to a limited non-profit exemption.
