Salta lawmakers pass bill restricting betting adverts on state property
Salta's Chamber of Deputies gave preliminary approval to a bill prohibiting betting-company advertising on state-owned buildings and vehicles. The proposal exempts non-profit organisations and sports clubs and now goes to the Senate for review. Enreja president Aníbal Caro said online betting in Salta generated ARS 16,000 million in July, according to figures cited by legislator Laura Cartuccia.
The bill would limit where betting companies can advertise on Salta state property if enacted.
