Salta council committee advances municipal betting-advertising ban proposal
A committee of Salta’s Deliberative Council continued reviewing a proposed ordinance to prohibit advertising, promotion and sponsorship of gambling and online betting on municipal signs and street furniture. Councillors discussed the draft with its author, Darío Madile, and said they would continue reviewing its wording at future meetings.
If approved, the ordinance would restrict betting operators’ use of municipal advertising spaces in Salta.
