Quebec Online Gaming Coalition urges province to regulate iGaming market
The Quebec Online Gaming Coalition is urging Quebec to replace its gambling monopoly with a regulated market, according to the coalition. It says the province loses nearly C$300 million in tax revenue annually and proposes an independent regulator, common standards, a licensing route for private operators and funding for community programmes.
The proposal could create private-operator licensing opportunities and change oversight, standards and community funding in Quebec.
