Pragmatic Play launches Sweet Bonanza POP with 25,000x maximum win

Pragmatic Play has added Sweet Bonanza POP to its catalogue of online slots, the supplier announced. The game is a new version of one of the company's best-known titles and joins its POP series, according to the announcement.

The slot uses a 3x5 grid and pays by groups of at least five matching symbols, up to nine or more, in any position on the reels. A cascade system can produce further winning combinations during the same spin. The maximum win is 25,000 times the stake.

At least three scatter symbols are needed to start the bonus round, and these can be lollipop-shaped scatters, POP symbols, or a mix of both. The feature begins with 10 gratuitous rounds, and two or three scatters landing while it is running can add between five and 10 more such rounds.

POP symbols also carry instant prizes. Triggering the bonus with one POP symbol pays 50 times the stake, two symbols pay 500 times, and three POP symbols take the player directly to the game's maximum prize of 25,000 times the stake.

Candy Bomb multipliers become active while the gratuitous rounds are under way, and their values can climb as high as 1,000x. Once a cascade sequence finishes, the multiplier values that showed up are totalled and then applied to the overall win recorded for that round.

Pragmatic Play said the release continues its development of the POP series, in which it is reworking some of its best-known intellectual property while keeping the original games' distinctive elements alongside a new visual identity and simplified mechanics.
