Playtech reports strong trading across the Americas in early 2026

Deals & M&A

Playtech said its performance in the first four months of 2026 exceeded expectations across the Americas, driven by strength in the US and Mexico. The company also cited performance in some European markets and its live casino segment. Playtech announced that senior independent director Ian Penrose intends to leave the board after the FY2026 results, while remaining in his roles until then.

The update gives investors a trading assessment and sets out the planned timing of a board transition.
