SBC announced a Regulatory Advisory Board on 5 November 2026 to advise on regulatory initiatives and identify emerging issues across international gambling markets. Andrew Gellatly, a former AGCC executive director, will chair the board, which includes representatives from Entain, Kaizen Gaming, Super, Allwyn, Playtech and OpenBet.
SBC has announced the creation of a Regulatory Advisory Board, a consultative committee of regulatory experts, former regulator representatives and gambling industry executives. The board is chaired by Andrew Gellatly, a former executive director of the AGCC. Its role is to give strategic guidance on SBC's regulatory initiatives, help define the main topics for engagement with institutions and identify new regulatory challenges facing the sector globally.
The members include David Foster, Group Director of International Regulatory Affairs at Entain. Yannis Xirotiris, Senior Director Regulatory Affairs at Kaizen Gaming, is also on the board. Jon Polanec, VP Global Risk & Market Integrity at Super, is a member. Francesco Rodano, Head of Responsible Gaming at Allwyn, is a member. Charmaine Hogan, Global Head of Government Relations at Playtech, is a member. Jessica Feil, Senior Vice President and General Counsel at OpenBet, is a member. Morten Ronde, an international gambling regulation and strategy expert at Nordic Legal and a former Danish regulator, also sits on the board. Eleonore Para, a gaming public affairs consultant and former representative of a regulatory authority, completes the group.
Rasmus Sojmark, founder and chief executive of SBC, and Andrew McCarron, the company's Managing Director, also take part in the committee. Eve Hartley, Head of Legal at SBC, will act as secretary of the board.
Sojmark said regulation is among the most important factors shaping the future of the sector. Gellatly said gambling regulation is becoming increasingly complex.
One of the board's main priorities will be to help develop the SBC Leaders Regulatory Forums, a series of events for direct discussion between institutions and the gambling industry. The first forum is planned for Amsterdam on 19 April 2027, with about 350 senior executives and representatives from regulated European markets expected to attend. SBC is also developing a North American edition in Toronto, which is expected to bring together 250 senior representatives of regulators and the gambling industry from the United States and Canada. The initiative follows collaboration that SBC has already started with the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) and the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL).
