Petroglyph Development Group completed its acquisition of Great Canadian Casino Vancouver in Coquitlam, British Columbia, from Great Canadian Entertainment. The companies first announced the transaction in December 2025; it is their fourth completed deal. The casino includes gaming, dining and live entertainment.

Pure Casino Entertainment has completed its acquisition of Gamehost, whose shareholders received CA$13.65 per share in cash, according to the report. The deal adds three casinos and three hotels to Pure’s portfolio, bringing it to seven casinos and three hotels. Separately, VICI Properties completed a CA$200.6m purchase of real estate assets at three casino and hotel sites, increasing annual rent under its lease with Pure by CA$16.1m.
VICI Properties said it completed the acquisition of the real estate assets of Deerfoot Inn & Casino, Great Northern Casino and two nearby hotels in Alberta, Canada. The transaction was valued at $144.4 million (CAD$200.6 million) and adds the portfolio to VICI’s lease agreement with PURE, increasing annual rent by $11.6 million (CAD$16.1 million).
An entity affiliated with Ts'elxwéyeqw Tribe Management Ltd completed its acquisition of Elements Casino Chilliwack from Great Canadian Entertainment on 28 July, the parties said. The transaction was first announced in November 2025 and the venue has more than 300 slot machines.
Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) fined Great Canadian Entertainment $170,000 over failures to assess and monitor high-risk customers and report suspected money laundering at Pickering Casino Resort. The commission said its compliance audit found cases requiring enhanced monitoring and suspicious-transaction reports that had not been filed; the company can appeal within 15 days.
LCKY Group, formerly Glitnor Group, said it completed its acquisition of Danish online casino brand RoyalCasino after securing all required approvals, with the deal wrapped up in August. The company projects the addition will lift revenue by 18–20% and EBITDA by 29–31%, and plans to launch RoyalCasino in new markets.
