PDG completes acquisition of Chances Maple Ridge casino in British Columbia

Petroglyph Development Group (PDG) completed its acquisition of Chances Casino in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, from Great Canadian Entertainment, the company announcement said. The agreement was announced in October, and the report said a separate planned acquisition of River Rock Casino Resort had not yet closed. PDG is wholly owned by Snuneymuxw First Nation.

PDG’s completed acquisition expands its gaming portfolio, while the separate River Rock acquisition remains unclosed.

Pure Casino Entertainment completes Gamehost acquisition in Alberta

Pure Casino Entertainment has completed its acquisition of Gamehost, whose shareholders received CA$13.65 per share in cash, according to the report. The deal adds three casinos and three hotels to Pure’s portfolio, bringing it to seven casinos and three hotels. Separately, VICI Properties completed a CA$200.6m purchase of real estate assets at three casino and hotel sites, increasing annual rent under its lease with Pure by CA$16.1m.
