Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission sets operating requirements for authorised cannabis retailers. Stores must begin sales within a year of authorisation, operate only from 7am to 11pm and limit sales to 30 grams of dried cannabis, or an equivalent amount, per customer per visit.
Retailers must comply with operating, record-keeping, staff training and sales restrictions to keep their authorisation.
