New York assembly member proposes ban on in-play sports betting

Regulation

New York Assembly member Linda Rosenthal introduced a bill on 10 December that would prohibit operators from taking in-play sports wagers in the state. The proposal was referred to the Assembly Committee on Racing and Wagering; if passed, it would require the state gaming commission to bar casinos and mobile wagering licensees and operators from accepting those bets.

If enacted, the proposal would remove in-play wagering from the bets operators can offer in New York.
