Kassay proposes monthly account statements for New York sportsbooks
New York Assemblymember Anna Kassay has proposed requiring licensed mobile sportsbooks to send registered users monthly account summaries. The draft would cover deposits, wagers, winnings and losses, account balance changes, login time and promotional credits, with delivery due within two weeks of each month-end. The New York State Gaming Commission would set presentation standards if the bill advances.
Operators could need to change account reporting and responsible-gambling information if the proposal becomes law.
