Nevada gaming board nominates Wayne Nix for Black Book listing

Enforcement & compliance

The Nevada Gaming Control Board voted unanimously on Wednesday to nominate Wayne Nix for inclusion in the state’s Black Book. The Nevada Gaming Commission will make the final decision later this month; Nix pleaded guilty in 2022 to illegal gambling and tax offences and is awaiting sentencing.

A commission decision could bar Nix from Nevada casinos, following his illegal betting operation and casino visits.

Earlier fines and penalties by Nevada Gaming Commission and NGCB
