Regulation

Minnesota senators Jordan Rasmusson, John Marty, Erin Maye Quade and Matt Klein backed two bills targeting prediction markets and online sweepstakes casinos. If passed, the proposed restrictions would take effect on 1 August 2026.

Operators and suppliers could face felony liability and a 10-year bar from state gaming licences if the proposals become law.
