Massachusetts Gaming Commission seeks AI marketing details from seven sportsbooks
The Massachusetts Gaming Commission asked seven licensed mobile sportsbooks on 9 October to explain how they use AI and other automated systems in marketing and responsible-gambling controls. The operators must respond by 3 November, including on whether betting losses or other account activity can affect promotional targeting; the request does not allege a breach.
The responses will inform the commission’s review of how automated promotions may interact with responsible-gambling safeguards.
