Massachusetts Gaming Commission chair warns of risks from prediction markets

Regulation

Massachusetts Gaming Commission chair Jordan Maynard warned that prediction markets and other unregulated gambling venues expose young people to risk. Maynard also said the commission supports legal action against sports prediction contracts.

The warning concerns underage exposure to platforms outside Massachusetts’ gambling supervision.
