Massachusetts Gaming Commission reopens sports betting licence process
The Massachusetts Gaming Commission voted 5-0 to reopen its application process for untethered online sports betting licences after bet365 asked to be considered for a permit. The commission will issue a Notice of Intent and later set out how long applications will remain open and what happens next; no licence has been awarded.
The reopened process could give bet365 and other applicants access to Massachusetts’ remaining untethered online sports betting permits.
