Massachusetts Gaming Commission opens portal for casino player data
The Massachusetts Gaming Commission has opened a portal for researchers to apply for anonymised casino player data, the Public Health Advocacy Institute (PHAI) said. PHAI agreed to dismiss its lawsuit over access after the commission completed the data anonymisation process earlier this month; the group said it now wants similar requirements for sports betting companies.
The portal gives qualified researchers an application route to casino data collected under state law.
