Marangoni proposes legal framework for state and municipal lotteries in Brazil
Deputy Marangoni introduced bill PL 5982/2025 in Brazil’s Chamber of Deputies on 26 November, proposing rules for state and municipal lotteries. The proposal covers operation, oversight and revenue allocation, and would require public operation or concessions of up to 15 years, with minimum allocations for specified public-service areas.
If enacted, the proposal would set operating and revenue-allocation rules for state and municipal lottery concessions.
