LEMG sets registration rules for betting and gaming certification bodies

Regulation

Minas Gerais’s LEMG established a registration process for bodies certifying betting systems, live-game studios and online games in the state, under Portaria LEMG No. 30. The rule limits eligibility to entities with operational-capacity recognition from the federal Secretariat of Prizes and Betting, and makes state authorisation dependent on that recognition remaining valid. Certifiers must provide assessment reports and notify LEMG within 10 days of specified changes or events.

Certification bodies and operators serving Minas Gerais must meet the new state registration and reporting requirements.
