DR Congo Ministry of Finance sets 31 July registration deadline for gambling operators

Regulation

The Democratic Republic of the Congo’s Ministry of Finance directed all licensed and active gambling operators to register with the government by 31 July. The requirement covers sports betting, casinos, lotteries, prediction games and other gambling activities; operators that miss the deadline may face administrative sanctions and other penalties. The ministry said registration supports tax administration and prepares the sector for a framework under parliamentary review.

Licensed operators across gambling categories must register by the deadline to avoid possible administrative sanctions and other penalties.
