KSA warns Smart Gaming over Betnation self-exclusion failures
The Dutch Gaming Authority (KSA) warned Smart Gaming, Betnation’s parent company, after a technical problem allowed some players listed in the Cruks register to gamble on Betnation between January and March 2026. The KSA said Betnation reported and corrected the issue and compensated affected players; it issued a warning rather than a fine.
The warning reinforces operators’ obligation to check the Cruks register and report problems to the KSA.
