KSA reports Dutch land-based casino GGR fell by EUR 61 million

Regulation

The Netherlands Gambling Authority (KSA) reported that land-based casino gross gaming revenue fell by EUR 61 million in its latest annual Market Scan. The report said gaming-hall locations declined from 217 in 2023 to 196 in 2024, while player positions fell from 24,692 to 20,997. The KSA attributed the market downturn to responsible-gambling measures introduced in October 2024.

Operators and investors can use the KSA data to assess declining land-based casino revenue and venue capacity.
