Italy’s Council of State overturns restriction on betting recharge points in associations

Regulation

The decision found the restriction in ADM’s 25 October 2024 measure unlawful, according to lawyers representing associations that challenged it.

The ruling may allow authorised clubs and associations to host betting recharge points despite ADM’s previous restriction.

The limit of €100 a week on top-ups made in cash or with instruments that are not fully traceable remains valid.
