IGT said it extended its agreement with the Rhode Island Lottery to provide IGT PlaySports technology for statewide retail and mobile sports betting through at least November 2028. The original agreement, signed in 2018, had been due to expire in 2026.
The extension maintains IGT’s technology role in Rhode Island’s statewide retail and mobile sports betting.

The US Supreme Court granted Kalshi a 30-day extension to respond to New Jersey’s petition, moving the deadline from 8 October to 9 November. New Jersey is seeking review of a Third Circuit decision concerning federal and state oversight of event and sports-event contracts. The court granted the extension without comment.
Michigan Lottery and IWG have extended their eInstant contract through July 2032, the company said. The six-year agreement gives the lottery access to IWG’s InstantGames portfolio and new eInstant content.
Brightstar Lottery said its subsidiary Brightstar Global Solutions Corporation signed a five-year extension with Oregon Lottery, valid through 23 May 2031. Brightstar will upgrade the central system and supply 2,200 SignaLink units and 1,000 Retailer Pro S2 terminals.
The New Hampshire Lottery Commission extended DraftKings’ exclusive sportsbook contract through 30 June 2028, exercising the first two-year option. The revised terms raise the promotional-deduction cap for retail betting from 10% to 40% of gross revenue, while the mobile cap remains 15%; DraftKings will share 51% of mobile and 50% of retail gross gaming revenue with the state.
Brightstar Lottery said its contract with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has been extended by two years. The company will continue providing lottery technology and services through 31 August 2028.
