Brightstar Lottery said its contract with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has been extended by two years. The company will continue providing lottery technology and services through 31 August 2028.

The Minnesota Lottery has selected Scientific Games to replace its legacy system under a seven-year technology contract, the company said. The cloud-based system will cover retail and digital operations, with renewal options for up to three additional years; the contract also includes retailer equipment and a digital second-chance promotions solution.
Brightstar Lottery signed a seven-year agreement to upgrade Washington’s Lottery’s gaming system and supply terminals and vending machines, the company said. The contract extends Brightstar’s service through June 2036 and includes 2,200 GameTouch28 machines, 100 GameTouch20 machines and 3,700 Retailer Pro S2 terminals. Washington’s Lottery director Brian Bennett said the agreement continues the parties’ long-running partnership.
Nevada’s First Judicial District Court granted the state a preliminary injunction against Kalshi and extended a temporary restraining order barring the platform from listing sports, election and entertainment event contracts for Nevada users. The extension runs through 17 April, with a hearing scheduled for 16 April before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals; separately, the Third Circuit ruled for Kalshi in its New Jersey case.
Butler National subsidiary BHCMC extended Boot Hill Casino’s sports wagering management contract with the Kansas Lottery and its commercial agreement with DraftKings through 2030. Butler National said the Lottery contract received a three-year extension, while the DraftKings arrangement was extended for ten years with updated commercial terms. The DraftKings agreement remains subject to Boot Hill’s management authority under the Lottery contract.
Kambi said it extended its retail sportsbook agreement with PENN Entertainment, continuing to supply technology through 31 July 2027. The deal covers PENN’s on-property sportsbooks and was renewed before the existing agreement expires on 31 December 2025; Kambi currently serves about 30 PENN properties in 13 US states.
