AGCO sets online pause and self-exclusion requirements for Ontario operators

Regulation

Source: AGCO (Ontario)

Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) standards require operators to offer game pauses lasting one day, one week, one month, two months or three months. The rules also set requirements for voluntary self-exclusion, including six-month, one-year and five-year options and restrictions on account access and marketing during exclusion.

Operators must provide specified pause and self-exclusion options and prevent excluded players from wagering or receiving promotions.
