Finland proposes direct player and betting data reporting rules

Regulation

Finland’s National Police Board has published draft rules requiring licensed gambling operators to send player, account and betting data directly to the supervisory authority. The proposal covers profile changes, rewards, deposits, withdrawals, wagers and wins; Finland must notify the European Commission before the rules can be finalised.

Operators would need systems to transmit detailed player and transaction records in the regulator’s required format.
