Brazil SPA reports 1.2 million betting self-exclusion requests

Regulation

Brazil’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting reported that more than 1.2 million people had requested self-exclusion from authorised fixed-odds betting platforms by September 2026. The requests represent 3% of the 40 million active CPF registrations in Sigap, according to the reported data; the centralised platform began operating in December 2025.

The figures give operators and regulators an indication of self-exclusion demand in Brazil’s licensed betting market.
