Brazil reports about 5 million betting platform blocks under legal restrictions and self-exclusion
Brazil's Ministry of Finance reported about five million people blocked from betting platforms because of legal restrictions or self-exclusion. The total includes three million Bolsa Família and BPC beneficiaries, while 1.2 million people used the federal self-exclusion platform launched in December 2025. The figures cover blocks processed through the federal SIGAP system, not exclusions applied directly by betting sites.
