Brazil blocks Desenrola Adimplentes participants from online betting for six months
Brazil’s federal government launched the Desenrola Adimplentes debt programme after President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva signed the measure on 29 June. Participants who receive its renegotiation terms must accept self-exclusion from fixed-odds betting platforms and cannot place bets or deposit funds for six months.
Operators must account for a six-month betting and deposit restriction for participants in the government programme.
